 After the Service all attending are invited to join the Commanders of London and Londinium in enjoying some wine and mince pies.

The Chaplain-General has provided the following further information regarding the proposed Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham from 3-5 July, 2009.

 Outline Schedule

 Friday 3rd July:

6.30pm    1st Visit to Shrine

7.00pm     Supper in Refectory

(for those arriving later it may be possible to arrange a later 1st Visit)

 Saturday 4th July:

Breakfast in Refectory

10.00am    Stations of the Cross

(Pilgrims are then free - no lunch has been booked) 

12.00pm    R.C. Mass at the Slipper Chapel 

6.00pm    Solemn Mass in Shrine, for Pilgrim Groups

7.00pm    Supper in Refectory

Sunday 5th July:

Breakfast in Refectory

11.00am    Solemn Mass in Parish Church

(R.C. Mass either in R.C. Parish Church or in Slipper Chapel)

Lunch in Refectory 

2.30pm    Sprinkling at Holy Well, and Anointing of the Sick

4.00pm    Procession of the Blessed Sacrament, Solemn Benediction, followed by Final Visit

 Tea in Refectory. 

There are 30 places booked at the Anglican Hospice (for members of all Christian denominations). They will go to the first 30 applicants.

However, there are a good number of B. & B.s in and around Walsingham and it will be possible to arrange lunch and supper in the Refectory.

 It is hoped to send out a booking form early in the New Year.
